Intro to Machine Embroidery

This class will go over how to operate and maintain your Brother home embroidery machine, as well as the basics of machine embroidery. That includes stabilizer, hooping, choosing and editing designs, and of course, stitching them out! We will briefly discuss custom embroidery design creation as well.

- Brother embroidery machine (PE800, SE625, SE1900, etc) with embroidery unit, power cord, and hoop
- USB Flash drive with no data on it, 64 gb or smaller
- Cutaway stabilizer 
- Embroidery thread
- Embroidery bobbin thread or prewound bobbins
- Woven Cotton Fabric, such as quilting cotton, in pieces larger than your embroidery hoop
- Fabric scissors and thread snips

Please plan to arrive ~15 minutes before class to set up. If you need to shop for materials before class, please plan to arrive with ample time beforehand. 

***PLEASE NOTE: The classroom is on the second floor and only accessible via stairs. Please plan accordingly.***
