General: 

What hours are you open? In East Hanover we are open Monday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM, Tuesday - Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. In Green Brook we are open Monday - Saturday: 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Both locations are closed on Sundays.

Machine Servicing and Repairs: 

Do you require appointments for sewing machine repair? No, we do not require appointments. You can bring your sewing machine in for servicing or repair any time during normal business hours. 

Will I get my machine back the same day? No, our mechanic typically runs about 7 days when servicing machines. 

Can I drop my machine off at either location? Yes, you can drop your sewing or embroidery machine off at either Sew Jersey location to be repaired. Please note, we are only able to take in multineedles and large free arm embroidery machines at our flagship East Hanover location. 

Do you work on x machine? Do you work on machines that are x years old? Yes. We are equipped to service machines of any age and brand. 

Longarm Quilting: 

Where can I drop off my quilt? You can bring your quilt in to our East Hanover store any time during normal business hours. We do not require appointments. 

How much does longarming cost? Our edge to edge longarming costs between 2.5 and 3.5 cents per square inch. The minimum fee is $40.00. 

Do you have batting available? Yes. We carry Quilter's Dream batting in cotton, 80/20 cotton poly blend, bamboo, and wool.

Do you have 108" wide or quilt backing material? Yes, we do carry a wide range of 108" wide back fabrics that are perfect for quilt backs!

Fabric: 

How is fabric sold? All fabric is sold by the yard unless otherwise specified. 1 Unit = 1 Yard. 

What types of fabric do you carry? We carry primarily quilting cotton, flannel, and minky/plush fabrics. We also have satin, polyester lining, and denim fabrics at our Green Brook location. 

Will x fabric be back in stock? We will regularly restock solid colored fabrics. However, designer fabric collections are typically only released once. Get them while supplies last! 

Do you carry stabilizer and interfacing? Yes, we carry a variety of fusible and sew in interfacings, alongside foam and embroidery stabilizers. You can find them here.
